I have a HP compaq d220. while running, the CPU usage suddenly goes to 100% n comes to normal after2 secs. goes back to 100 n coms back. This problem was since i bought my PC but i dint pay ne heed as this didnnt affect its performance. But nowadays as the CPU usage goes up, My pc hangs for 2 sec then comes back to normal. It's very irritating while playing games, listening to songs watching videos etc. is it a software problem or a hardware problem. My cpu usage graph is like this
__/\__/\__/\__/\__/\__.it is not svchost.exe but it is the "system" process whose CPU usage goes to 100%. I saw it in the task manager. pl suggest somthing
